We aim to have our farm operate on a circular regenerative system. This means that the by-products of raising our animals and crops are returned back into the land in one way or another and help to cultivate the land leaving it better than the way we found it the year before. A great example of this is having our chickens roam free and pick through the pastures after the cows have been moved out. The chickens not only pick through by-products left by the cows but also act as miniature tillers as they pick and forage through the pasture, spreading fertilizer and helping the grasses grow back for the next round of grazing!
